If you are using the BYOD option at KMS, we would also like to provide some instructions for the upcoming NWEA tests. It is possible to take the NWEA test on your BYOD computer by following these instructions:
- When instructed by your teacher, visit this website using the Chrome web browser - https://test.mapnwea.org/ or the no pop-up version https://test.mapnwea.org/#/nopopup.
- Pop-ups must be allowed when visiting this website. You can do so by clicking 'Allow Pop-up' when first visiting https://test.mapnwea.org/ or clicking the menu icon (three vertical dots) in the top right corner. Click Settings -> Privacy and security -> Site Settings -> Pop-ups and redirects -> a. Toggle the Blocked option to allow all pop-ups, b. Click the Add button and then enter [*.]mapnwea.org, then click Add. If you require visual instructions, please visit NWEA - How to enable pop-ups.
- Once at the log-in screen, follow your teacher's instructions.
- We will also place these instructions and links on the btschromebook.weebly.com/ website and the btschromebook.weebly.com/troubleshooting website.
- If you are unable to access the website during the testing window, you could be required to make-up the test during recess, lunch, or outside of school. You are responsible to be sure your machine follows KMS BYOD requirements and is in proper working order.
